Inconsistent Thrill Ride.

A film like NH10, and Badlapur a few weeks ago, are good news for an industry fulcrumed around stars. That big names like Anushka are willing to take a risk like this is heartening. One can only hope that sooner than later, the technique and execution also match up to the intention behind these films. Watch this one for sure though. (more)

Eminently watchable.

Panic-stricken, the couple applies for a gun for self defence. And to get Meera's mind off the harrowing incident, Arjun promises to make up to his wife for a skipped honeymoon with a romantic birthday getaway. The much in love couple drive right into a violent fracas at a highway dhaba. A young village girl and her husband are dragged into a vehicle by her violent brother (Darshan Kumaar). Arjun jumps in to play saviour. His bravado backfires and their trip careens out of control. The film, however, holds its path right down to the shocking final moments. NH10 is an adventurous Bollywood film that breaks the shackles of convention and is none the worse for it. (more)

Watch NH10 for its bare truths and gruesome elements. It is time that every girl awakens a Meera within her.

The greatness of how a woman can take on a society full of men who want to kill her, molest her or even ask her to not look at them in the eye. It is that moment that wins you when you see Meera rigorously rubbing a Hindi slang which means a prostitute written on a womens latrine door.(more)

NH10 is a strikingly believable horror film

The frame before the crash shows her fleeting, well-earned smile turn into a wide-eyed and helpless whoops -- another excellent Sharma moment -- and that whoops is the best metaphor for NH10: it tells us were on the edge and that one misstep could flip our lives around in an instant. Buckle up.(more)

NH10 is not for the faint-hearted. NH10 is a power packed revenge drama!

Anushka Sharma delivers a power packed performance, it's something she has never done and she does it convincingly. My favourite scene is when she is smoking and just watching one of the guys bleed in pain, it leaves a big impact. Neil Bhoopalam initially as the charming husband and later an unreasonable guy who walks straight into trouble does the job well.If you like action and revenge dramas this is great one! But if you can't watch blood and torture then there is no way you can watch this. (more)
