Stereotypically chaotic & ends up in a mess!
The storyline is nothing new. It moves along the lines of many films from the past, one of them being the recently released Desi Kattey. There is too much confusion in the film and Shaad Ali overdid a lot of elements combined with poor writing and screenplay. Also, a few fashion classes are highly r...(more)

Kill Dils ending just made me want to yell, Kill Me!
Kill Dil wont make you cringe for sure, but the film suffers from mistaken identity and that remains its perennial problem. We have a dancing Godfather, who decides to break into a dance at the drop of a hat. There are two many songs in the film that dilutes the central drama. The camaraderie works...(more)

Ranveer, Parineeti are buried under despite their best efforts, Govinda cant save it either.
This has steadily and sadly become a Yashraj trademark, the studio that has given Hindi cinema so many of its beloved landmarks, this cannibalizing bits and pieces of its own films without being able to give us a story we can believe in. Its one thing to have an element or two which is exaggerated...(more)

Kill Dil is a disaster!
What it does have is a knockout title track from composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, where Sonu Nigams rendition alone packs more punch than two hours of the deflated bromance between Ali and Ranveer. Id happily sit through two hours of K-k-k-k-kill the Dil playing in a loop over this pretence of a ...(more)

KILL DIL is a film, which could have been worth watching, had it been handled and directed properly. This film's definitely worth a miss
KILL DIL, which is set in North India, starts off with a shaky camera which introduces the two protagonists Dev (Ranveer Singh) and Tutu (Ali Zafar), who are self-confessed 'haraamis'. The duo reveal that their childhood was all about learning 'M for Maaki' and 'B for Behenki...' in place of 'A for ...(more)

Kill Dil if you have plenty of time to kill. It is unlikely to deliver much joy to your dil, though.
Kill Dil has its own variation on the theme: the protagonist, having traded his gun for a fake graduation certificate, hops from one place to another desperately looking for employment. Predictably, he is summarily ticked off by stand-offish interviewers and sent packing. (more)

A predictable story mars the genius of Govinda, Ranveer Singh's performances.
The heroes in Kill Dil may be gun-wielding goons, but they are not bad heart -- just blame it all on the situations they are in. But the villain and his follies? They are unexplained, mainly because he is the villain. He is meant to be mean. With Kill Dil, you get the ever-energetic Ranveer Sing...(more)
