Autonagar Surya has a simple and routine story.
Autonagar Surya is a political thriller movie with high entertainment quotient. Naga Chaitanya's performance is the main highlight in the film. Deva Katta's engrossing screenplay and punch dialogues, Anoop Rubens' music, Srikanth Naroj's cinematography, Brahmanandam-Venu's comedy timing, well-choreographed action and dance sequences are other attractions in the film. A few predictable scenes and wrong placement of songs in the first half are big drawbacks. (more)

Autonagar Surya � Average Entertainer
On the whole, Auto Nagar Surya is one film which starts off with much promise, but dips down badly during the second half. Naga Chaitanya�s striking performance is a plus, but lack of basic entertainment, and a hurried up climax spoil the fun to an extent. Finally, Naga Chaitanya can be extremely proud of this film, as he is the only best thing in this average entertainer. (more)

value based ideology
First half of the film is nice and with good elevation of protagonist character in pre-interval scenes. Second half of the film should have been better with better screenplay. This film too needs trimming in terms of comedy episodes and songs just like Deva Katta�s earlier movie Prasthanam. Auto Nagar Surya has good premise and good intention. But should have been edited better. Plus points of the film are dialogues, ideology and performances. On the flip side, we expect an interesting second half. We have to wait and see how masses embrace Auto Nagar Surya.(more)
