Mixed bag
The film has moments of ferocious power and just as many flaws. Raajneeti is a film with ambition and scale but it works in fits and spurts. Jha�s political epic is too busy and bumpy and never quite fulfils the potential inherent in the story.(more)

Don't miss it
Prakash Jha, the persona, is known for qualitative cinema and RAAJNEETI, his new offering, stands tall on the list. Cinema is all about narrating interesting stories on celluloid and for that very reason, RAAJNEETI deserves distinction marks. Of course, the massive star cast and the sparkling performances are the icing on the cake. (more)

Politically Incorrect
Skillfully dealt with, this may not necessarily be a problem, but here Jha is in masala mode, a lethal combination considering he's serving us the single oldest plot we've known as a nation, randomly meshed together with the most iconic American film of all time, The Godfather. (more)

Keeps you engrossed
Jha has done brilliantly with screenplay and dialogues. The ambience is perfect. Body language of each and every performer is 'politically correct'. This one is for the masses and Prakash Jha has once again gone beyond the gloss to the grime and crime. (more)

Mahabharata with Godfather twist
