Salaam to the director and producer

SALAAM NAMASTE is an immensely likeable film that should appeal to all ages, mainly its target audience -- the youth. It's a myth that Indian audiences have still not come of age and continue to be orthodox about certain issues. But debutante director Siddharth Raj Anand handles the subject with utmost maturity, serving the pill in a saccharine sweet format.(more)

Great fun

For an afternoon of laughs, some excellent performances by Saif, Preity and Jafferi, and a well-shot tour of Melbourne, you can't go wrong with Salaam Namaste. As a romantic comedy, this works very well. (more)

The look and the mood are very good

Treatment is all in SALAAM NAMASTE. The plot on its own amounts to nothing much. But watch Saif and Preity, with some help from Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffri. And you have what could safely be termed a romantic comedy with plenty of whoops and wows.(more)
