A light-hearted flick without going into mushy sentiments

Abound with slapstick humor that does make one laugh, Masti is a delightful and situational farce on the subject of sex. The movie is an out-and-out comedy without any hilarious moments. However, the humor is not the most witty, incisive or charming comedy, but it does a good job of entertaining viewers.(more)

Goes over the top with lewd jokes

Indra Kumar seems stuck between the traditional way of doing a sex comedy and the more upmarket trendy nudge-nudge-wink-wink style. The end-result is more shriek than chic. The production values, including the music (Anand Raj Anand) and cinematography (Mazhar Kamran) are just about serviceable.(more)

Delightful and witty farce

MASTI has all it takes to appeal to the cinegoers - an impressive star cast, popular music, dollops of comedy and most importantly, sex - not in visuals, but in dialogues and gestures. All these factors combined together will prove advantageous for the film and should take it to the winning post.(more)
