Down the memory lane
The narration of the film is pathetically slow. Director failed to make audience involve and identify themselves with the hero's character. Screenplay of the film is not tight.(more)

Storywriter Cheran's plot is loosely inspired by Raj Kapoor's "Mera Naam Joker". But Cheran makes the third girl in the hero's life a friend, instead of a lover. (more)

Slice of life, but no spice of life
The strength of Cheran's original was its earthy nativity. Somehow that is also lacking in this remake. In the end, there is lot of slice of life but very little spice of life. (more)
