Pawan's show

You actually feel like watching two films in one film. Balu---ABCDEFG is a good film. But you also cannot help feel that it could have been better. It is a story that readily lends itself to all typical cinematic elements. Fun, love, action, sentiments ...everything is there. But the let down is that the script is not taut enough.Pawan as Balu and Ghani is in splendid form. After the failures of Johnny and Gudumba (in which he was off-colour), he is almost back to his best.(more)

Disappointing

The basic problem with the film is Pawan Kalyan who is no where near his old form during Kushi days. He has a haggard look and mannerisms especially in romantic scenes with Shriya are the same like in Gudumba Shankar.(more)

Good with class orientation

First half of the film is good with class orientation and fine suspense elements about the past of the hero's character. The second half has mafia backdrop where Pawan Kalyan uses guns rather than muscles. The love track between Pawan Kalyan and Neha is gentle. But the director could not sustain grip over the proceedings in second half. Climax of the film offers variety. (more)
