Interesting story line

There is ambiguity and a bit of confusion towards the climax and director settled for a tweaked version of DDLJ climax. Direction of the film is good in the first half. But he could not effectively translate the emotions on the screen(more)

A real life story or a message-oriented film?

Though the director gave his best in the first half, he trembled in the second half as he doesn't know how to continue the story further. Most of the scenes are very boring and the audiences were seen moving impatiently in their seats in the absence of enough comedy relief.(more)

Big bore and huge disappointment.

Director Bhaskar comes with new movie - Parugu after winning accolades for his debut film Bommarillu. Apart from directing, he has written the story and screenplay, so if there is one person to blame for this boring movie, it ought to be Bhaskar. This is quite uninteresting fare. (more)

Expectations Not Reached

This film cannot be in tune with the expectations of the youth. People cannot get compassion on the hero but will get on Prakash Raj's character. Finally it appears that Prakash Raj is the hero of the movie.The target audiences for this film are only the fathers of young daughters.(more)

Not as good as Bommarillu

Bhaskar ensures that the largely rural setting of the story will go down well with the rural as well as urban audience.One has to wait and watch if the 'Dil' Raju-Bhaskar duo can repeat the magic of Bommarillu with Parugu.(more)
