KisKiskoPyaarKaroon – Kapil finally makes it to the big screen!

The duo of Abbas-Mastan recently decided to give a go at comedy rather than their usual thrillers they are known for. Things were alright with the genre-shift, but they might have gone far too ahead in experimenting with the lead actor of the film i.e. the stand-up comedian/TV host ‘Kapil Sharma’! Though for Indian audiences comedy is a synonym with Kapil in the recent years, but how well he would be perceived at the big screen is still a big question.

The story of film involves a middle-class man called SRK i.e. Shiv Ram Kishan (Kapil) and his comedy of errors, complications and loads of confusions arising out of his three marriages and an affair outside them. How he manages his three households and his secret love interest is the major plot of the film.

From the trailer itself, it seems that the film would be an amalgamation of a lot of Kapil’s one-liner jokes. Although they are not very funny, but Kapil’s delivery can tickle could tickle your funny bone. However, he is his usual self and delivers in the same manner he does in his stand-up acts and TV show. This might just give the viewers a repetitive feeling in terms of humor!

Generally we have seen this kind of plot in Govinda movies. Obviously, Kapil is regarded as the king of comedy in recent times but to pull off a Govinda is no easy job! Talking about the plot, there is nothing new except for the faces in Elli Avram, Simran Kaur Mundi, ManjariFadnis and Sai Lokur as his love interests. The film also starts actor Varun Sharma (Fukrey fame), Arbaaz Khan and Supriya Pathak.

But only time will tell if silver screen’s favorite comedian and host will make it big on the big screen or not and whether the viewers will accept him as a hero material!
