Shaandaar Trailer Review – 200 seconds of WOW!

Wow! The trailer for Shaandaar starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Pankaj Kapoor is a treat to watch. The national/filmfare award winning director VikasBahl who directed 2014’s most popular film Queen is all set to bring us this destination wedding film which looks full of fun and craziness. It could be one of the most entertaining rom-coms in the history of Bollywood.
Official synopsis for the movie is as follows: Based against the backdrop of a Shaandaar wedding, is a love 'triangle' between Alia (Alia Bhatt), JagjinderJoginder (Shahid Kapoor) and Bipin - Alia’s father (Pankaj Kapur). Bipin believes there’s no one who will be good enough for his daughter while Alia is a dreamer - although her dreams are a bit out of the ordinary. But JagjinderJoginder is a doer, he can make anything happen!
The story by Vikas looks more than just quirky and is set in the beautiful locales of Poland and London. He makes sure that the movie has those funny little moments, the super-awesome one liners and very euphoric kind of mood to the whole film that is perhaps needed in a romantic comedy. I must say after watching this trailer, I am turning into a big admirer of VikasBahl, just love the he tells a story! Also, the music is by the modern day legend Amit Trivedi (Remember the soundtrack of Queen, Dev D, etc). The title track has already got stuck in my head.
Alia and Shahid might be the cutest Jodi of 2015 and the chemistry between them is as adorable as sizzling it is. Alia fans can rejoice the fact that she’s seen flaunting a pink bikini for the very first time. Shahid Kapoor’s riding high with super-success from Haider and Alia Bhatt from all her hits last year. Together, they are surely going to create wonders at the box-office. And to top that there is the Pankaj Kapoor the veteran all prepared to make you laugh you ass off as the Punjabi father! It would be so interesting to see the father-son duo on-screen for the very first time. Also, we will see actors like Sushma Seth and Sanjay Kapoor also being the part of the cast.
We are really very excited to watch this film and 22nd October would definitely be worth the wait going by the fantastic trailer!
