Sushant Singh Rajput injured during MS Dhoni shoot

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput who will portray the character of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in an upcoming biopic on the cricketer has reportedly suffered injuries while training for the film.

The actor has been undergoing rigorous physical training to authentically represent the character of India's most successful cricket captain. While practising for the helicopter shot that Dhoni is famous for, the 'Kai Po Che!' actor apparently fractured his ribs.

A source close to the project said, "He has been working hard to get into the skin of the character and in doing so, he fractured his ribs and was out of action for more than three weeks."

The film was initially expected to go on floors in June, however due to some snags the film will now begin shooting mid-July. Director Neeraj Pandey will most likely release the film next year.
