Varun Dhawan replaces Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi!

The suspense around the Karan Johar-produced and Karan Malhotra-directed Shuddhi is finally over. Salman Khan, who was initially signed for the project, is not doing the film anymore.Karan Johar tweeted the news saying,"And finally..SHUDDHI starring VARUN DHAWAN and ALIA BHATT...directed by KARAN MALHOTRA..@Varun_dvn @aliaa08 @karanmalhotra21 @DharmaMovies".

Salman Khan has just revealed that he will no longer be a part of Karan Johar’s much talked about project Shhuddhi. The superstar, who had just wrapped up shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, took to twitter to announce that Varun Dhawan has replaced him in Shhuddhi.

Replying to Salman’s tweet, Varun tweeted,” Thank you Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan I promise to make you proud #shuddhi”
