Ranbir Kapoor kick starts Bombay Velvet promotions. Ranbir Kapoor may have shied away from promoting ‘ROY’, but nothing seems to be holding him back this time around for Anurag Kashyp’s ‘Bombay Velvet’.

Ranbir, who has been spotted around town basking in the summer sun while playing friendly football matches with the locals, suited up for the promo yesterday. The actor was seen stepping out of his vanity van and heading up to the studio of a popular radio channel.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Siddharth Basu and Manish Choudhary appearing in supporting roles. The film is scheduled for release on May 15, 2015.
Bombay Velvet directed by Anurag Kashyap is an adaptation of Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables and narrates the story of how the city became a metropolis against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and jazz music.
