Anushka & Raveena’s songs edited out of 'Bombay Velvet'

The much talked about forthcoming movie ‘Bombay Velvet’ is back in the news, this time with speculation that songs featuring Anushka Sharma and Raveena Tandon have been axed due to the excessive length of the film.

According to a report on a leading tabloid, the time length of the film resulted in the editor, Thelma Schoonmaker to edit three of Anuskha Sharma’s songs and Raveena Tandon’s two songs out of the film.

Tandon had shot for a song that introduced the film's characters as the opening credits rolled. That song is now gone. Her second song also has been largely snipped and only a portion of it remains.

Bpmbay Velvet is over three hours long and the songs had to be edited to cut short the running time of the film.
