Anushka Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor to perform at IPL opening ceremony

IPL ceremony has always been a star studded event, this time around, the BCCL officials have roped in some big stars to perform at the opening ceremony of the eighth season of IPL. 

Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and singer Pritam are all set to light up the stage at the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL) Opening Ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium here on April 7. Pritam will also be putting up a laser show that evening.

According to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release, the entertainers will come together to mark the start of the eighth season of the cash-rich Twenty20 league with the evening's proceedings being hosted by actor Saif Ali Khan.

The Opening Nite will be telecast live on Sony Max and Sony Six. It will be streamed on Hotstar.
