Akshay Kumar wraps up a tough schedule of Airlift
Airlift starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles is directed by Raja Krishna Menon. The team has been shooting in Ras al-Khaimah, UAE. An important schedule of the film was canned here and the schedule has been wrapped.

"Airlift" is said to be based on the Indians who were stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War. 'Airlift' reportedly sees Akshay play the lead role of Ranjit Katyal, a wealthy Indian businessman based in Kuwait. When he and his family are caught in the midst of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, Ranjit unwittingly becomes the man who all 170,000 Indians look up to for finding them a safe passage across the border into Jordan.
The film is slated for release on January 22, 2016.
