Anurag Kashyap joins the sets of AR Murugadoss's Akira

AR Murugadoss kick-started the shooting of his next Bollywood film "Akira" two weeks back in Mumbai. Sonakshi Sinha plays the female lead and the film is said to be a women centric film with a social message.

The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. Director Anurag Kashyap who has been roped in for a pivotal role in the film has joined the sets of Akira for shoot. Anurag will be portraying a negative role in the film.

The movie highlights a strong social message and it focusses on the safety of women, the burning issue which the country is currently facing. ‘Akira’ is Murugadoss’s first original script in Hindi.
