Shruti Haasan to pair opposite Ajith in Thala 56?

After the success of Yennai Arindhaal, Ajith fans are eagerly awaiting for the official announcement of his next film tentatively called ‘Thala 56’.

The latest we hear is that the female lead has been finalized. Shruti Haasan is likely to pair opposite Ajith in the movie. While there has been a lot of speculations regarding the leading lady of the film, the ‘3’ actor is said to have bagged the role. If the report turns out to be true, then Shruti Haasan will be sharing screen space with Ajith for the first time.

Thala 56 will be directed by Siruthai Siva and also marks the returns of Ajith and Siva after ‘Veeram’. The film is produced by AM Rathnam and is expected to go on floors in April.
