An Aamir Khan film is always the event of the year. When it is also a Rajkumar Hirani film, the excitement zooms right into the stratosphere. After the stupendous success of 3 Idiots, Hirani and Khan are back with PK - an unusual name for an unusual looking film.
While there need not be any more persuading for you to go watch this film this Friday, we give you 5 reasons why this would be worth your while nonetheless.
1. Aamir Perfectionist Khan
Whatever this man touches will be gold of the highest quality. Well almost everything - Dhoom 3 though terrible as a film, broke all records only on Aamir's star power. With PK, Aamir is playing a bewildering character, forcing the actor to even go nude for the publicity stills. When an actor of his caliber invests so much in a film, it is worth a watch don't you think?
2. Aamir Khan & Anushka Sharma
A first time on screen jodi, Aamir and Anushka make an unlikely pair. They do not seem to be romantically linked from the trailers but hey, we are not complaining, they both make an amazing pair and we can't wait to see what magic these two lovely actors conjure on screen.
3. Sushant Singh Rajput
The silently rising star of Bollywood, this two film old actor has made all the right noises with his choice of films thus far, and with PK he seems to be upping the ante further.
4. Sanjay Dutt
The now imprisoned actor's most probably last outing at the silver screen is PK. He was ordered into prison right at the end of his shoot for this film and fans would get one last chance to see him on screen, with the team that made the memorable Munnabhai.
5. Rajkumar Hirani
If there is anyone who makes simple heart-warming family movies in this day and age, it has to be Rajkumar Hirani. With Munnabhai series and 3 Idiots, he has an enviable track record of complete mega success. After Gandhigiri and taking up arms against our education system, we cant wait to find out what it is exactly that has gotten this maverick director all excited this time.
