Akshay Kumar’s Baby has no songs

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Baby will have no songs. The Special 26 duo Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are back with action-thriller, Baby. The trailer of the film was released recently and has got stupendous response from audience. 

The film will not have any songs in the film, as the filmmaker feels songs might distract the audience from its core theme. In an interview to a leading daily the director and producer of the film have confirmed the reports.

Neeraj said, "A film is about narrating an engaging and entertaining story to the audience. Some stories demand song and dance, while others work wonderfully without them. The essence and style of this film lend themselves to minimal distraction for songs."

T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, who has co-produced the film has said, "It's always good to try out different things. We have done romantic films that were high on music recall. However, when I heard this script, which had action from start to end, there was no need for songs. The day I heard the narration, I knew I had to come on board."
