Varun Dhawan has no dates for dad David Dhawan

Director David Dhawan, who is popular for his hit comedies, said his actor-son Varun is too busy to work with him. Davin Dhawan had earlier directed Varun in the film Main Tera Hero. Since Varun's date diary seems to be full, the 59-year-old filmmaker gets to direct his son only in 2016.

“I will work with him (Varun) but in 2016. He is already busy doing films. He is going to start in Rohit’s (Dhawan’s elder son) film soon. Rohit will direct him for his yet untitled project,” Dhawan, told PTI on the sidelines of IFFI.

Varun made his Bollywood debut in Dharma Productions’s 2012 college drama ‘Student of the Year’. His upcoming projects include Badlapur, ABCD 2. He will soon start shooting for his brother Rohit Dhawan's film where he shares the screen space with John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. He will also star in Homi Adajania's adaptation of John Green's novel The Fault in Our Stars co-starring Deepika Padukone.
