Daawat-E-Ishq Opening Weekend Box Office Collection

Daawat-E-Ishq starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles directed by Habib Faisal hit the screens on Friday. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film released in around 1600 screens. The film carried a good pre-release buzz. However the film failed to meet the expectations of the audience and has received mixed response. 

The film had a slow start at the Box Office on its opening day with an average occupancy of 20 % - 30%. It had managed to collect Rs. 3.75 crores on its opening day due to its bigger release. The film earned 4.25 crore on Saturday. On Sunday it had done better business and had collected around Rs. 5.5 crore. The film had collected around Rs. 13.50 crores in the opening weekend.

The film is expected to do decent collection during the first week. Since there are no big releases lined up for this week, the film has a chance to score well till Haider and Bang Bang hit the screens on October 2.
