Welcome Back release date postponed

Welcome Back starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia directed by Aneez Bazmee  was initially slated for release in December this year. The release has now been pushed to Jaunary 23, 2015.

Welcome Back is the sequel to the 2007 hit comedy Welcome. The film shooting is yet to be wrapped with two more schedules pending. Producer Feroze Nadiadwala was keen on releasing Welcome Back on December 19 alongside Aamir Khan’s PK. But because of Anil Kapoor’s date issues there are two remaining schedules in Dubai and Mumbai. So the film release has been pushed.

Welcome Back will be clashing with Akshay Kumar's two film "Gabbar" and "Baby" which are releasing on the same day. Interestingly Akshay Kumar was part of the first installment and John Abraham has replaced him in the sequel.
