The film is one of hugley anticipated films this year. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Tabu and Irrfan. The film is based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet and is set in Kashmir. It is the third installment of Vishal Bhardwaj's Shakespearean trilogy after Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello). Shahid Kapoor is co-producing Haider along with Bhardwaj and UTV. It is set to hit the screens on October 2, 2014.
