The song was shot in one day over 16 hours. Khoobsurat is an official remake of 1980 classic romantic-comedy directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film starrs Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Ratna Pathak, Kirron Kher, Aamir Raza Hussein and Kaizad Kotwal.

Sonam Kapoor has stepped into the shoes of Rekha in this remake. Khoobsurat will see Sonam in the lead role of Mili, a vivacious girl who turns the lives of a royal family upside down. It is produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Disney. Khoobsurat will hit the screens on September 19, 2014.
