Lijomol Jose, who made a strong impression in last year's Gentlewoman, is fronting a new hyperlink action thriller titled The One, directed by Aathiran Rakkeppen. The first look was unveiled on Thursday by producers Gopal Balakrishnan and Siva Ramanathan under the Harshini Pictures banner.

Set against the Western Ghats in Coimbatore, the film unfolds over a single eventful Shivaratri night where four strangers find their lives unexpectedly intertwined through destiny, circumstance, and survival. Lijomol leads an ensemble that includes Saravanan, Paval Navageethan, and Namita Krishnamurthy in pivotal roles.

Ghibran scores the music, Vinoth Raja handles cinematography, CS Premkumar edits, and Srikanth Gopal serves as art director. Lijomol was last seen in Baby Girl opposite Nivin Pauly and also awaits the release of the long-delayed Freedom alongside Sasikumar.
