The makers of Lenin Pandiyan have dropped the film's first single, Unnai Nambi — a romantic yet poignant number that beautifully captures the pain of separation. Written and composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja himself, the song features the soulful vocals of Shweta Mohan.

The release marks a significant reunion — Ilaiyaraaja and Sathya Jyothi Films coming together again after iconic collaborations spanning decades, including Moondram Pirai, Idhayam, Thangamagan, Pagal Nilavu, and Panakkaaran, among others.

Directed by DD Balachandran, Lenin Pandiyan features composer-lyricist Gangai Amaren in the lead role, alongside actor-politician Roja Selvamani making her return to Tamil films after over a decade. The film also marks the debut of Dhaarshan Ganesan, grandson of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan — a name that carries immense legacy. Shrita Rao and Archana Ravichandran play prominent roles.
