The makers of Rathna Kumar's upcoming romantic drama 29 have dropped the film's first single, Polladha Aasaigal, setting the mood perfectly for what promises to be a heartfelt theatrical experience.

Composed by Sean Roldan, the romantic and sensual number features vocals by Sathyaprakash and Saindhavi, with lyrics penned by Uma Devi.

Led by Vidhu and Preethi Asrani, 29 is set in a pre-dating app era where romance was raw and unfiltered. Rathna Kumar returns to direction after Gulu Gulu (2022), having kept busy writing dialogues for blockbusters like Master and Vikram in the interim. The supporting cast includes Master Mahendran, Avinash, Shenaz Fathima, and Premkumar. Cinematography is by Madhesh Manickam, with RS Sathish Kumar editing. Kaarthikeyan S of Stone Bench — the banner founded by Karthik Subbaraj and Lokesh Kanagaraj's G Squad — produces the film.
