Actor Jai is set to collaborate with filmmaker Sakthi Rajasekaran for his next project, the makers announced on Monday. The yet-untitled film will mark the debut production of Firoz Hussain Sherif, who is backing the project under the SST Productions banner. Further details about the film’s title, cast, crew, genre, and release plans are yet to be revealed.

Sakthi Rajasekaran previously directed the 2017 film Yeidhavan, starring Kalaiyarasan and Satna Titus. The film revolved around a youngster who takes on a gang involved in a medical seat scam after his sister becomes a victim.

Jai was last seen in Baby and Baby and recently joined the cast of Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Texla, where he will share screen space with Suraj Venjaramoodu. The actor also has Karuppar Nagaram, Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai, and Worker in various stages of production.
