Actor-director R. Parthiban has issued another clarification and apology regarding his recent remarks about Vijay and Trisha Krishnan at a recent Galatta event.

In a new video statement, Parthiban said that Vijay’s rise has been remarkable and noted that his political entry through Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam has created significant impact. However, he said the recent wedding reception where Vijay and Trisha appeared together had sparked criticism in certain circles.

Responding to claims that he had blamed only Trisha, Parthiban clarified that both Vijay and Trisha were “equally responsible” for appearing together at the event. He added that he had initially supported Vijay’s political move and admired his decision to step away from peak stardom to enter public life.

Parthiban also dismissed speculation that he might join politics or align with Vijay’s party, stating that he does not belong to any political side and has no intention of entering politics in the future.

Concluding his statement, Parthiban said he never intended to hurt anyone with his earlier remarks and apologised if his comments had caused offence, adding that he would learn from the experience.
