Connekkt Media, the production company behind Dhanush's Ilaiyaraaja biopic, and Mohanlal's Vrusshabha, have now acquired the Hollywood marketing company, Mob Scene. Taking to X on Tuesday, Connekkt Media, the indian company which also dabbles in AI-powered rights, made the announcement.

Mob Scene is famous for running hit marketing campaigns for Hollywood productions, including the Oscar nominated A Complete Unknown (2024), Dune: Part Two (2024), Barbie (2023), and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), the entire Fast & Furious franchise, Stranger Things (2016 - 2025), the Kung-Fu Panda movies (2008-2024), and the Minions franchise.

Mob Scene co-founder and CEO Tom Grane will maintain creative leadership under this new acquisition. Connekkt Media also has an untitled Bollywood production in its line-up, and this project is said to be an action outing with a 'big' Hindi film star.
