Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan in the lead, and written, directed by Shankar, is the sequel to the duo's vigilante blockbuster Indian (1996). A Lyca Productions, Red Giant Movies venture, Indian 2: Zero Tolerance released in theaters on July 12, 2024. As Indian 2 nears the completion of week 2 theatrical run, the makers have unveiled a video song from the movie.

The Come Back Indian video song features Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and friends staring the social media trend that calls for the return of Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned anti-corruption vigilante. 

Indian 2 is currently running in theaters with a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes (as opposed to the original 3 hours). Post theatrical run, Indian 2's OTT release will be on Netflix streaming platform; Indian 2's World TV premiere will be on Kalaignar TV Tamil channel.
