Writer, director Gautham Naidu Tinnanuri is famous for making sports drama Jersey in Telugu (2019) with Nani, and remaking the same in Hindi (2022) with Shahid Kapoor. Putting VD 12 (tentative title) with Vijay Devarakonda on hold, the director has now announced a new movie titled Magic. 

Magic will mark the Telugu lead debut of former child actor Sara Arjun. Sara Arjun is famous for her Tamil films like Deiva Thirumagal (2011 remake of Hollywood's I Am Sam), Saivam (2014), and more recently Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022), and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023). She has also appeared in Dagudumootha Dandakor, the 2015 Telugu remake of Saivam as a child actor.

The first look of Magic unveiled today is a Beatles-inspired* poster featuring four teenagers. Jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios, Magic has Anirudh Ravichander for music, Girish Gangadharan for cinematography, Navin Nooli for edits, Avinash Kolla for production design, Neeraja Kona for costume design and Krishna Kanth for lyrics. 

* The Beatles is a world famous English rock band that were active from 1960-1970. Their pop culture relevance is closely tied a famous picture which has the four men of The Beatles band, striding along a Zebra crossing on Abbey Road in London, England. The photograph was taken in 1969 for the cover of The Beatles' final album titled Abbey Road, and in 2024 is one of the most instantly recognized images of the world.
