Canadian rapper and one of world's most popular R&B, hip-hop musicians Drake, has bought the rights to an AR Rahman Bollywood composition. Highway, a 2014 Hindi movie written and directed by Imtiaz Ali featured a song titled Patakha Guddi which was composed by AR Rahman, lyrics by  Irshad Kamil (also the co-writer of Highway), and sung by Sultana and Jyoti Nooran. 

Patakha Guddi is a popular number from the critically acclaimed Highway album, and Jytoi Nooran has revealed in a recent interview that Drake is working on a remix of the same. "Drake bought the song (Patakha Guddi), so we'll see what he does..He's made a second dub of it in India", she told BBC Asian Network. 

The official twitter handle of the 2-time Grammy, Oscar winning musician AR Rahman has also confirmed this development. Patakha Guddi was released under T-series music label and its video song can be seen here:
