Y Not Studios produced Thalaikoothal is a Samuthirakani starrer drama film, that released in theaters on February 3, 2023. The movie, based on the theme of senicide in Tamil Nadu follows a son’s fight to save his comatose father from an archaic practice. This brilliantly made film is finally gearing up for its digital premiere. Netflix has officially confirmed Thalaikoothal's OTT release date to be March 3, 2023 [Friday]. 

Written and directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, Thalaikoothal stars Samuthirakani as Pazhani, Kathir as younger Muthu - Pazhani's father, Kalaiselvan as older Muthu, Katha Nandi as Pechi, Vasundhara, Vaiyapuri, Murugadoss among others. 

The film's technical crew includes Kannan Narayanan for music, Martin Donraj for cinematography and Dani Charles for edits.
