Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham released in theatrers on January 25, 2023 [Wednesday] and the film has proved to be a box-office boon to the Hindi film industry aka Bollywood. Even before release the movie's advance bookings had raked up a phenomenal number, and Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of 4 years in his first ever full fledged action role in the last 32, was the primary reason behind it. 

Another thing that was confirmed even before Pathaan's theatrical release was its OTT release plans. The movie will be making its digital premiere on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform in April, 2023. And while not officially announced, it is expected that Pathaan's OTT release will be April 25, 2023 [Tuesday] i.e. exactly 3 months from its theatrical debut.

With story and directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan produced by Yash Raj Films is a high octane action thriller that comes with a runtime of 2 hours 26 minutes 16 seconds. The movie part of YRF's spy universe, follows ex-army man turned undercover agent - Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), his arch nemesis and RAW agent turned rogue - Jim (John Abraham) and an ex-ISI agent named Rubai (Deepika Padukone).

How these three race against time and each other to destroy and protect the worlds they believe in, is what forms the rest of the story.
