Bholaa is the official Hindi remake of Karthi starrer Kaithi, which was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Ajay Devgn is reprising Karthi's role in the Bollywood version and now it has been announced that Bholaa will hit theater screens on March 30, 2023.

Bholaa is directed by Dharmendra Sharma and it also stars actress Tabu in an important role. The movie's story will revolve around an ex-convict who who is on his way to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison, but gets caught in a face-off between the police and a mafia gang.

The Hindi version is jointly bankrolled by  Ajay Devgn Ffilms, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Kaithi producers Dream Warrior Pictures.
