Multiple National award winning Tamil film personality Vetrimaaran is a writer, director and producer and he recently made a statement at the 26th edition of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), that has turned a lot of heads. Commenting on politics, Vetrimaaran said,
"..Today's world is divided (into different political ideologies). Most of us feel that you have to choose - you are either left or you are right. There is no middle. If you say that you are middle then you are right..So there is a time where you have to choose.."
The universal applicability of Vetrimaaran's statement, especially with the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war and Kerala, Tamil Nadu's strong resistance to the right-wing BJP party, has made it go viral. Watch it here:
