Malayalam star Mammootty's Puzhu is an upcoming crime thriller written by Harshad, Sharfu, Suhas and directed by debutante Ratheena PT.  The movie recently cleared censor with a clean U quashing talks of a direct OTT release. Puzhu's run-time was also revealed to be 2 hours 2 minutes i.e. 122 minutes, making it Mammootty's shortest film yet.

Puzhu also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead and has Jakes Bejoy for music. S George’s Cyn-Cyl Celluloid has produced the movie while Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films is presenting it.
