After undergoing the carotid artery revascularization (CAR) surgery, actor Rajinikanth returned home on Sunday evening. He updated about his health via his daughter's recently launched voice-based social media app and he was heard saying, 

"Treatment is over, I'm doing well. I've returned home tonight. I thank everyone who prayed for my health and everyone who enquired about my health. Thank you". 

Earlier in the day, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin had visited the actor at Kauvery hospital, where the actor was admitted on October 28 and treated. The medical bulletin released by the hospital stated that Rajini was brought to the hospital after feeling giddiness; He underwent CAR and was discharged within 3 days.
