Queen is a Gautham Menon directed web-series, which is an adaptation of Anita Sivakumaran's novel based on the life of J. Jayalalithaa. Season 1 containing 11 episodes premiered on MX Player on December 14, 2019 and latest we hear Season 2 is currently in the works.

Gautham Menon is expected to begin shooting for Season 2 episodes soon and he will be alternating for the same with his ongoing feature film project Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu.

Queen has script written by Reshma Ghatala and just like Season 1, Kidaari director Prasath Murugesan will be helming most of the episodes.
