Actor Prabhas' upcoming movie Radhe Shyam, which is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead had a new release date announcement today. Radhe Shyam will now be releasing in theaters on January 14, 2022 marking the Makar Sankranti holiday.
Interestingly Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata is also slated for a Sankranti release in 2022, though an official release date has not been announced yet. The movie is however gearing up for an official update on July 31 i.e. tomorrow and fans anticipate a release date confirmation among other things.

In addition to Radhe Shyam and Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Production No: 12 (tentative title), which an upcoming Telugu movie produced by Rana Daggubati with Pawan Kalyan in the lead is also slated for Sankranti release in 2022. Release date for the PSPK - Rana movie awaits announcement.
