It has now been confirmed that Cold Case starring Prithviraj will be releasing directly on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The release date has been announced as June 30, 2021 and the movie has been censored with a U/A (16+) for digital viewing.

Cold case, which is touted to be an out-and-out crime thriller, has Prithiviraj playing an Assistant Commissioner of Police named Satyajith. The movie produced by Anto Joseph marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Tanu Balak and also stars Aditi Balan in the lead.
