A.R. Rahman has begun composing for the upcoming Tamil movie Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan, which stars Simbu in the lead. This is the composer's third time with STR and director Gautham Menon after the musical hits after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Achcham Yenbadu Madamaiyada.

Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan like its predecessors is expected to be high on romance and the movie produced by Vels Film International is expected to go on floors in May, 2021.
