Liger, Vijay Deverakonda's first PAN Indian movie was officially announced today and the actor is seen in a boxing pose on the first look poster of the movie. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Liger (named after the Lion-Tiger cross) will be directed by Puri Jagannadh and has Ananya Pandey playing female lead.

The movie will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Vijay Deverakonda is said to be playing a kick boxer with a stutter in the film and he underwent dramatic physical transformation for it and trained in martial arts at Thailand.
