Latest: Sushant death is a case of suicide! Murder completely ruled out!

PUBLISHED DATE | 03/Oct/2020

In a total game-changer, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, who led the five-member All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) panel re-evaluating actor Sushant Singh Rajput's post-mortem and viscera reports, has ruled out any foul play in the actor's death. "Sushant death is a case of suicide. Murder completely ruled out," Dr. Sudhir Gupta has said and has confirmed that his medical board of forensic experts have submitted their findings to the CBI on September 29, 2020.

Reportedly, the CBI, which is probing Rajput's death case, is yet to confirm AIIMS findings which were based on 20% viscera sample available with them. If CBI accepts the findings though, it will negate the strangulation and murder suspicions that arose in the actor's death.

It is worth mentioning here that the CBI has been investigating Sushant's death for over 57 days now after taking over from the Bihar Police, with whom the actor's father KK Singh had filed an abetment to suicide case in Patna. He had named Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family as suspects.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020. The local police had called it a case of suicide and had filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR) the same day. The initial post-mortem report of the actor conducted at Cooper Hospital had stated asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of death.
