Actors Fahadh Faasil and Darshana Rajendran who recently gave a hit film called C U Soon, have begun work on their next titled Irul. Directed by debutant Naseef Yousuf, the film which also stars Soubin Shahir is a production venture of Anto Joseph Film Company and Plan J Studios. 

The shooting of the movie began in a indoor facility at Kuttikkanam and the team is following strict COVID-19 filming regulations.
