In the September of 2019 actor-composer G.V. Prakash confirmed via a video that he is shooting for his debut Hollywood movie called Trap City in which actor Brandon T Jackson is playing the lead.

Brandon has famously appeared in movies such as Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Big Mommas Like Father, Like Son (2011) and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) and more recently he is recognized as the voice of Corduroy Jackson-Jackson from the animated web-series Bojack Horseman (2015-2020).

Directed by Ricky Burchell, Trap City is the story of a drug peddler turning out to be a successful rapper and G.V. Prakash plays a doctor in the movie. The movie produced by Tel Ganesan under the banner Kyyba films recently had a teaser release and Tamil actor Nepoleon plays an important role as well.
