World's first German language Netflix original Dark, which is a web-series based on time-travel might be returning for a Season 3 on June 27, 2020 as previously announced. Dark which made a lot of noise last year for its sinister and conspiracy vibes had already begun filming Season 3, while Season 2 was aired in late June, 2019.

Now, it is being buzzed that fresh new episodes of the final season of Dark will premiere as planned, as it is understood to have escaped any production delay due to COVID-19 situation. If true, Dark co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese will be returning with 8 episodes for Season 3.
